Media/News – Roger D. Arndt Master Representational Canadian Landscape Painter
The representational Canadian Landscape paintings created by Roger D. Arndt have received numerous accolades and press over his more than four decade career as a fine artist. A master oil painter, painting in a style inspired by the Flemish masters, later creating his own signature technique. Arndt is currently represented by numerous galleries in British Columbia and Alberta. He has exhibited with the Western Art Showcase at the Calgary Stampede for over twenty-five years. He was a founding member of the Western Lights Artists Group, travelling and exhibiting with the group for over twenty-four years. Several works by the artist have reached the secondary art market and have been sold at auction, including Hodgins Art Auctions Ltd. & Halls Auction Services in Calgary, Alberta.
